Magnets

Magnets, as big as mountains, pulled us close, Into a single block, our love arose, If it's good, we can have it all, No looking back, we're moving forward, standing tall. We obsess over things we can't undress, Dreaming of oval, predictable outcomes, nothing less, I once dreamt I was a big rock, And everyone prayed for different colors, it was quite a shock. Our silence was broken, and the colors melted, Like insects into a nest, our fate was dealt, I float free on her snake skin shape, And through the sun river, my heart did escape. Descending into flesh like pieces into a greater assembly, Big wheels burn inside my irises, quite simply, Forged promises leave no trace, Of the place inside this place. Mouth palace, moth palace, a bet I can make, Your silly cells dance, like an embryo memory, no mistake. Our love is like magnets, strong and true, Pulling us together, me and you.
